mr mod offers a unique selection of furnishings from the most popular and influential design eras.  We source designer pieces and interesting objects to enhance and personalise your home, whether you are an avid mid century collector or lover of quality vintage design. 

Ross and I take a fresh and contemporary approach to buying vintage, reflecting global interior design trends, whilst maintaining our own distinctive style.  We offer interesting products and ideas for the home, in a friendly and informal environment.  Visitors are encouraged to spend time exploring our showroom’s extensive mid century and vintage collections, housed under one roof. 

mr mod’s St Martins showroom is a restored 1950’s garage, inside its front door is a large showroom displaying mid century furniture with an emphasis on Scandanavian and Danish modern pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s.  Our second room showcases a beguiling collection of antiques, vintage industrial furniture and decorative design. Only a short drive from the Christchurch city centre, mr mod offers more than 360 square metres of quality imported vintage furniture and design.
